✓ ServiceTitan
ServiceTitan is a CRM meant specifically for home service industry businesses (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, etc.). ServiceTitan has a built-in email marketing platform called Marketing Pro that is great for sending email blasts or drip sequences. Because it is built out within the CRM much of the process can be automated.

✓ Hubspot
Like ServiceTitan, Hubspot is a CRM, however, it is not designed specifically for home service industry experts. Hubspot’s email marketing platform is very intuitive and customizable. Like ServiceTitan, you can run automated drip sequences.

✓ MailChimp
MailChimp is not a CRM and it is made specifically for email marketing. We use this for clients who are not on a CRM. It’s great for customizable email blasts and there are automation features, but it’s not as intuitive or well-rounded as Hubspot and ServiceTitan.

First, I’d like to debunk the myth that chatbots are “EITHER OR”—sorry Drift. Meaning, it’s not a chatbot OR a contact form. You can have both. Actually you should have both on your website.

People have different preferences. Phone, email, telephone, chat. It all has its place.

That being said, at STXNext we use a chatbot to drive more leads and engage with users while they are browsing our website. If it works for software agency, it could work wonders for B2C, where there’s no business development involved.

My recommendations are:

✓ Hubspot
Hubspot Bot – no brainer for Hubspot users. You’re getting chatbot out of the box.

It’s really basic but works great overall. You can create chat flows within minutes. The interface is very intuitive. One downside is customization—it’s very limited.

✓ ChatBot.com
If you’re serious about automation Chatbot.com will work great. It integrates with major messaging platforms like Facebook Messenger or Slack.

While it’s more complex in use, it offers a very powerful AI, amazing chat flow templates and robust customization.

✓ Hubspot
HubSpot is usually one of the first names on people’s lips when lead gen tools are mentioned. It’s a bit of a Swiss army knife, combining sales, marketing, and customer relationship management all on a single platform. Its many features allow you to create automation workflows, email campaigns and manage social media accounts in addition to carrying out lead generation activity.

✓ Discover.ly
Finding new leads on social media can be a frustrating and time-consuming task. Google Chrome add-on Discover.ly aims to change that by revealing more information about somebody and who they are connected to when you visit their profile on a social media network. On LinkedIn, for example, visiting a person’s profile will bring up a pop-up window that shows who that person is connected to on LinkedIn, in addition to Facebook and Twitter. It’s a simple yet ingenious way of quickly finding new leads without having to navigate your way around individual networks.

✓ OptinMonster
OptinMonster is a lead generation software tool that makes it easy to capture, share, and manage marketing leads. It provides high-converting mobile-friendly forms and uses behavior detection rules to find success. integrates with major email marketing and CRM platforms, and you can set advanced targeting rules for marketing campaigns – from page-level targeting (running campaigns on different pages, targeted to page content) to OnSite Retargeting (creating special offers and promotions for returning visitors). It’s also possible to target campaigns by location, activity or inactivity, and by device type.

✓ Unbounce
I have used this landing page builder in many of my projects, and it is still one of the best I have ever used. It has extensive features that make the process easier and more customizable. The price is affordable, and ease of use remains impressive.

✓ HubSpot Landing Page Tool
Low cost plus a few extras such as smart content and CTAs, make this tool one of my favourites as well.

✓ GetResponse
Landing pages is just one of their offerings, and it is a great option for anyone starting from scratch and requires more than just a landing page software.

✓ Hubspot
We utilize the Hubspot chatbot on our website www.anttix.com.
We selected the Hubspot chatbot last year due to the fact it is included free with our CRM. Not only does it integrate with our CRM which makes it awesome and easy to use. It also has a tracking code that enables the chat to track prospects that come to our website which we can easily convert into leads. The other reason we love the Hubspot chatbot is that our prospects and clients find the chat extremely easy to use and easy to communicate with us during business hours.

I also like that the Hubspot app on my phone allows me to message back and forth with the person in chat even if I am not in the office. Then when we are logged off or after hours the chat feature has a chatbot that will answer chat requests, gather information, and email that over to us. The chatbot function emails the conversation so we can answer our prospect or client within a timely fashion. Overall It has helped decrease our response time and allowed us to take our customer service and support to the next level.

✓ Hubspot
We use Hubspot Chatbot. It has a very nice free and unlimited plan and has a lot of features like automation, personalization, booking meetings with your team. Also, you can automatically provide customer support answers, create tickets, use workflows. Configuring it is very easy as Hubspot gives also you some templates to have where to begin from.

✓ Pardot
For the generating leads, I use Pardot; it is great impact analytics and lead generation tool. Pardot has an extremely intuitive and friendly user interface for creating custom and automated campaigns. As a marketing guy, my overall experience with Pardot is excellent, I use Pardot to generate leads for my company, and it never fails me.

✓ Hubspot
Hubspot is another tool that I prefer to use for lead generation; it is an inbound marketing tool useful to improve lead capture, traffic generation, and sales conversion. The reason to like this software is that by keeping all the data centralized, Hubspot helps to see more traffic and turn that traffic into more sale conversion. It also improves SEO with its keyword tool and shows the user which keywords already ranked and suggest others. Overall my experience with Hubspot has been a good one because it enabled my business to become slicker and more productive.

✓ Hubspot
It’s actually an all-in-one CRM tool but we’ve only been using their email marketing platform and we just love how easy it is to navigate. You won’t be spending most of your time watching tutorials to learn how to use it. From setting up your email to designing it (drag & drop builder) then sending it out, the whole process is straightforward in their interface and it’s free so I’d highly recommend it for anyone who’s starting as a small business.

✓ MailChimp
This is another tool we’ve had the experience of using and it has a free plan as well. A feature we found really easy and valuable in MailChimp was the way automation is being set up. They’re not too complicated to understand and would only take you little time to successfully build one. Perhaps the only problem we had with it was its limited customization features in its email editor as we wanted to add visual impact in our emails.

Also, the free plan’s customer service support is very limited so you’d be left on your own figuring things out.GetResponse. This platform’s perfect for any small business owner who just needs the basics of an email marketing platform in a tight budget. We loved how they incorporated a calendar view to get a better perspective of when email campaigns reach your recipients. The email editor is a bit challenging to get your desired look for the email but if you only need to send out emails in simple text and imagery then this tool might work for you.

✓ Hubspot
If you use HubSpot’s marketing automation products, then their chatbot is a great fit. It allows for super customizable chatflows and feeds all that information back into the HubSpot CRM, allowing for customer records to be automatically updated. You can also trigger workflows off the back of chats, for example opening support tickets or sending email resources.
However, if you’re not using HubSpot’s marketing suite then the chatbots are going to be of limited use.

✓ Drift
Drift is probably the number one solution out there for lead generation. The bots are hyper-customizable and can integrate with a huge range of third party tools. It is quite expensive (if you’re not on the startup plan, which offers a whopping 93% off!), but for websites that have a large volume of traffic it’s a great choice for top-tier lead generation.

✓ Hubspot
The first tool I would like to recommend is HubSpot. One unique advantage of HubSpot’s landing page builder is that you’re able to tie it into their CRM and take full advantage of Hubspot’s full suite of tools (including personalization).

✓ Leadpages
Another useful tool is Leadpages. If you’re looking for a good and cheap solution, Leadpages might be your thing. It has a very convenient drag & drop functionality and a keen emphasis on well-designed templates.

✓ Instapage
Instapage is also a very easy to use tool that comes with 200+ templates for a variety of use cases. Another key benefit of Instapage is that they offer a variety of solutions designed for Google ads, Facebook ads, and Retargeting ads.
