✓ MailchimpThis is the perfect option for new businesses or if you’re just starting out with email marketing and you have a limited budget. With easy drag-and-drop tools, a beginner-friendly UX, anyone can get started with email marketing using Mailchimp. The only caveat here is that they’ve recently split ways with Shopify, and will no longer be supported on the Shopify platform.

Speaking of Mailchimp, it’s also a wonderful platform for small businesses. If you’re looking for an all-in-one marketing platform, it’s hard to beat Mailchimp. They now offer social scheduling, ad retargeting and some AI-driven features in their $14.99 standard plan. I haven’t found any digital marketing tool that offers as many features for the price as Mailchimp. For unlimited social scheduling on other platforms (that only do that), you’re looking at least $10/month. Mailchimp gives you multi-channel features for a single-channel price.

MailChimp is not a CRM and it is made specifically for email marketing. We use this for clients who are not on a CRM. It’s great for customizable email blasts and there are automation features, but it’s not as intuitive or well-rounded as Hubspot and ServiceTitan.

On the other hand if you’re a brick and mortar store, a service business, or a gym or something along those lines and the nature of your emails is just going to be stop in to the store or we’re having this sale then I think MailChimp is probably the better option.

Mailchimp is the best landing page builder — it’s free and has a fantastic UX. Their landing page design templates are beautifully simple. The best part of Mailchimp’s landing page builder is the analytics tool that comes with it. You can track visits, conversions and other metrics without having to sync third-party tracking software, which saves you a lot of time. Mailchimp is obviously known for its email software, but more entrepreneurs need to be considering this company for their landing page optimization needs.

This is another tool we’ve had the experience of using and it has a free plan as well. A feature we found really easy and valuable in MailChimp was the way automation is being set up. They’re not too complicated to understand and would only take you little time to successfully build one. Perhaps the only problem we had with it was its limited customization features in its email editor as we wanted to add visual impact in our emails.

Also, the free plan’s customer service support is very limited so you’d be left on your own figuring things out.

You’ll also need something like Mailchimp to handle your lead and nurture emails. Mailchimp requires that anyone you email must be opted in which is why you need Replyify which will manage your cold emails. You’ll use Mailchimp for designing HTML templated newsletters, announcements, content promotion and branding.

Mailchimp comes up with three different plans, out of which you can go ahead with free plan if you are a small business owner or blogger.

You can use a template and customize as per your requirement.
You can try A/B Split testing and find out which subject lines are getting maximum open rates.

You can integrate your Facebook Business Page to add connections and ask for feedback about your emailers.

The platform that I would recommend for most small businesses is Mailchimp, for a variety of reasons:

– Their forever free plan is actually forever free for a certain number of email subscribers and emails sent. If you don’t send too many emails and your list isn’t that big, you can stay on the free plan for as long as you want.

– They let you upgrade easily. When your list grows, Mailchimp doesn’t force you into jumping for an expensive plan that you won’t use. Instead, you can grow slowly, by the number of subscribers and emails. You can pay as you go.

– They make it super easy to create beautiful emails. You can grab their templates and edit a few items and you should be good to go. Their automation builder is great too and they recently included a landing page builder as well. You have all the tools you need to create and manage beautiful emails.
